Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains what information DiagLift collects, why, and what control you have over it. We've written it in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate — if anything is unclear, contact us at hello@diaglift.com.
What we collect
Depending on how you use DiagLift, we may collect:
- Contact information you give us directly — such as your email address when requesting early access.
- Account information — email, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), and account status once accounts are available.
- Billing information — subscription and payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. DiagLift does not store your full card number on our own servers.
- Usage information — how you interact with the diagnostic chat tool, so we can improve accuracy and troubleshoot issues.
How we use it
- To provide and improve the diagnostic assistant itself.
- To manage your account and subscription billing.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
- To identify and fix bugs, including through limited-access test accounts used during development.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to operate DiagLift, and only share what's necessary for them to do their job:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Our hosting provider — to run the website and application infrastructure.
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account and associated data, at any time, by emailing hello@diaglift.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of credentials and restricted access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we treat this seriously.
Children's privacy
DiagLift is a professional tool intended for equipment technicians and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active account holders directly.
